I am Alysha, a self-taught creator and the founder of NearSightedCreations.
Ever since I can remember, I have been interested in creating and appreciating handmade art, especially jewelry. I love unique adornments, which has inspired me to make jewelry. I also love items with texture, so I love working with clay, natural objects, and resins. I find joy in incorporating items and visions from the world around me.
I am a full-time registered nurse, and fostering my creative side keeps me grounded and balanced. Walt Whitman's poetry inspires many of my items, and his poems have shaped the lens through which I view the world.
